What is the Custom Requisition Form used for?
The Custom Requisition Form is our structured intake tool for buyers who need products that differ from our standard catalogue offerings. This includes custom ink colors, custom barrel or cap colors, private label branding, modified tip specifications, custom packaging configurations, and OEM product development. Completing the form ensures our production and commercial teams receive all required details upfront to provide an accurate quotation.
What information should I prepare before filling in the Custom Requisition Form?
Before submitting, please have the following ready: the product type and base SKU (if modifying an existing product), the specific customization required (color codes in Pantone or RAL for color matching, artwork files for branding), estimated monthly or annual order quantity, target delivery location, and your preferred timeline. For ink color matching, physical samples or color swatches can also be submitted by courier.
How long does it take to develop a custom product?
Lead times for custom products range from 15 to 90 days depending on complexity. Color-only customizations typically take 15 to 25 days from sample approval. Custom packaging redesign adds 2 to 3 weeks. Completely new product development involving new tooling or ink formulation can take 60 to 90 days. All lead times are confirmed in writing after the initial sample approval stage. With advance payment only.
Will I receive samples before the full production run?
Yes. For all custom orders, we produce pre-production samples (PPS) for buyer approval before committing to full production. Sample approval must be received in writing via email before the production run commences. If samples require revision, an additional round of revised samples is produced. Final production will only proceed once the buyer has confirmed approval.
